"April is the month when many of our friends from the North head home.  I'm sad to see them leave.  They always bring much activity and fun to Sunsport.  They are an important part of our community.  On the bright side, they plan to return later in the year, when it gets cold up North.  Some have told me that they have made reservations for accommodations two years in advance.

The Full Bloom Music Medley for Young Adults is the April 7-9 weekend.  Once again , the Tribe is organizing a great musical program with many bands playing poolside.  Since Friday the seventh is also the first Friday of the month, I expect a large turn out for the drum circle with glow in the dark body painting.  Several workshops are scheduled for the weekend including Reiki, Sound Bath Meditation, Relationship Values Game, and Constructing Dream Catchers, Yoga, Love Languages, and Singing Circle.  While people aged 18-30 receive very low rates for the weekend with first timers free, people of all ages are welcome to participate in the events and join in the fun.

The following weekend the traditional mammoth Easter Egg Hunt will be Sunday morning at 11:00 am and a Community Pot Luck Feast at 6:00 pm.  Please indicate what you will bring to the pot luck on the sign up sheet in the office.

Please remember to collapse cardboard boxes before putting them in the yellow bins for recycling.  Also, please put only bagged waste and garbage in the large dumpster.  Leave large furniture and lumber outside near the dumpster.  We have arrangements with WastePro to pick up discarded large appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.  Please let the office know if you would like us to take care of your discarded large appliances.  If you would like large yellow and/or blue large plastic boxes to help you with sorting and recycling, please let Tom Vuk or me know; the County has given us a new supply.

Carmen Hamm of the Naturist Society has designed a beautiful new brochure for Sunsport.  It will be printed soon.  A copies of the front and back sides of the brochure are printed below.  It is designed to be folded into thirds.

I extend a warm welcome to our newest staff members: Strong and upbeat Jessie Lee is working in Maintenance and Grounds.  Smiling and joyful Brittany Blair is a restaurant server.   Talented and creative Gary Fox will be preparing great meals in the restaurant and helping with dish washing.  Intelligent and organized Roger Byrd is coordinating the Maintenance and Grounds team.   They have already demonstrated that they are important additions to our staff.
