There's always something fun happening at Sunsport Gardens! We have an action-packed calendar of events on tap for you. All events are free with membership or grounds fees except where noted. Guests arriving after 5:00 p.m. for events pay half-price grounds fees.

Sunsport Gardens Tarot Circle

 

The Tarot is an ancient book of spiritual wisdom and a tool for divination. If you are interested in Tarot, divination or psychic development, please join us Thursday evenings at 7 pm in the Pavilion for a fun and informal Tarot study group.
 
Certified Tarot Master and Instructor Christiana Gaudet will be your leader as we explore the mysticism, symbolism and practical uses of the Tarot.
 
Bring a Tarot deck and a notebook. Tarot decks will be available to borrow or buy at each meeting. Refreshments will be provided.
 
Meeting dates are as follows. All meetings are on Thursdays, and begin at 7 and will end by 9. Members of the outside community are also welcome.

SPECIAL EVENT:

Fall Equinox Celebration

Saturday, September 20, 2 pm

 

We will begin our afternoon at 2 pm with a workshop on Designing Personal Ritual. In this workshop we will learn techniques for marking personal rites of passage, as well as seasonal ones. We will incorporate many traditions and belief systems to create ceremony that is meaningful and mystical.

At 4 pm we will begin an eclectic ritual to honor the Equinox. Bring your drums, clapping hands, singing voices, dancing feet and meditative spirits. If you plan to be nude be sure to bring sunscreen and a towel to sit on.

Since Sunsport Gardens is a nudist/naturist resort, this is a rare opportunity for skyclad ritual. In the ritual area you may wear ritual garb or regular street clothes if you prefer, however you must be nude if you wish to use the pool or hot tub. Attendees are expected to obey all Sunsport Gardens rules. Overnight accommodations may be available at Sunsport by calling 800-551-7217. Grounds fees at Sunsport Gardens are $16 per day, but first time visitors may download a coupon for a free visit at their website www.sunsportgardens.com. A $10 love offering is requested but not required to attend the workshop and ritual. Please bring your own food and beverages. Gardens Cafe at Sunsport offers a nice menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you prefer.
