Young Naturists

I must say, Sunsport has changed my life.
My first day at Sunsport Gardens was Friday, April 8th, but it wasn’t just an ordinary day. It was Florida Young Naturist’s 3rd Annual Naked Spring Bash! My stay at Sunsport Gardens was an experience like no other. Sunsport is a warm welcoming resort located in Loxahatchee, Florida. They supply you with a personal lot with beautiful scenery.
You’re able to camp there with a tent, tipi, hammock, popup, teardrop, van, pickup, car, and even an RV or camper of some sort. On the whole property there are lakes scattered around with breathtaking nature trails that spider-web throughout the whole site. I also love how all the trails can act as secret passageways and lead you to different parts of the land. There’s also a pool with a waterslide by the pavilion near the cafe. Not to forget about the hot tub and sauna.
Yet I must say my favorite spot would have to be the drum circle with the fire pit. For the active ones there are tennis courts, volleyball courts, a children’s playground, horse shoes, and even kayaking!
Everyday there is something going on, with different activities throughout the day. Whether you like nature walks, water aerobics, Square/Swing dancing, yoga, playing chess against Bill, or rather find something else going on of your interest I’m positive you’ll enjoy your stay. I sure as heck know I did! I must admit that Sunsport and the FYN Spring Bash was not what I expected. The weekend before I arrived at Sunsport my friend had mentioned to me about a nudist resort. I always wanted to find a private camping area to go all natural in the nature, so once hearing about this place I could not refuse the offer to come. Once I took my first step out of the car on Sunsport soil I couldn’t help myself but say, "I’m home" and beam a smile to my friend. The first thing we did was go to the poolside and that’s where I first met Morley. Morley is the owner of Sunsport and he came walking up to me and I will never forget what he said. "There are no clothes allowed in the pool area, so you need to get naked."
So, with a wary smile, off came my sarong and I will admit I was quite nervous about being bare naked in front of a little over a hundred and fifty people, ages ranging from 18 to 30, but soon after I warmed up and got used to it. It felt natural, normal, free, like I was supposed to be that way. The atmosphere out here is very different than other places. The vibe is very original and like none other I’ve ever felt before. The peoples’ energy at Sunsport along with the Florida Young Naturists is strong and everyone is loving and inviting. I have never met a friendlier group of people like the ones there. Everyone there is one giant love-stuffed family and you can only experience this firsthand by going to Sunsport. I’d have to say that just with the period of time I have spent at the site I can say I have made a new family; an amazing one at that. I wish I could send my waves and feelings to you through reading this just so you know how ecstatic yet at peace, whole and comfortable I am with my body, and how much in love I am with Sunsport. And I’m sure you’ll love it too. I’m very grateful that Florida Young Naturist held an event at Sunsport for whomever wished to come. It was a three day event which started on April 8th and ended on the 11th, and the last day was free. Every day they had events planned: swimming, dancing, yoga, karaoke and exploring nature trails. They rented a 30 foot water slide and a bungee cord trampoline for people who needed a little thrill, and even had live bands playing by the bonfire for those who wanted to chill.
With that they even had glow in the dark body paint for the artist, or those who wanted to be an art piece! During the FYN bash I also did yoga, meditated in the butterfly garden, went dancing, took a group trip to Haulover [the nude beach in Miami Beach], then settled back at camp and ended the night by swaying with the drum circle band and roasting marshmallows. I must say, if it wasn’t for the Florida Young Naturist I wouldn’t have met all the extraordinary people that ended up gathering at Sunsport. I made fabulous friends, but an even better family.
